Honda Interceptor VFR800

The Honda Interceptor VFR800 is the product of Honda, with the first one launched in 1998 in the USA. The Honda Interceptor VFR800 has widely been attested as a landmark in the category of mid range sports touring bikes, in addition to being rated pretty high from its competitors.

The Honda Interceptor VFR800, unlike its forerunner, the Honda VFR750, has a longer stroke power engine based on the fuel instilled RC45 race engine. The novel version by Honda has an engine with a displacement of 781cc, delivering a maximum power of 107bhp@10,500rpm along with a maximum torque of 80Nm@8750rpm.

This 213kg Honda Interceptor VFR800 provides a ground clearance of 130mm has a wheel base of 1458mm, and is supported by a fuel tank capacity of 21.95 liters with the peak speed of 155 kph.

The front suspension is 43mm HMA whereas the rear suspension is single sided swing arm sustained with Pro link solo HMAS. Some additional fascinating features of the Honda Interceptor VFR800 include - a digital fuel estimate display, analogue tachometer, tires without tubes, alloy wheels, computerized speedometer and digital trip-meter.
